This is my idea of decompressing. The beach, music, and skateboarding all have been major components of my life. Music and skateboarding are two components that have made me the person I am today. I feel without a release life would have no purpose. All these things provide me with more than just a release, but passion love and appreciation for life.
This Fall semester Vans is sponsoring one of my studio classes. As a skateboarder who grew up in southern California I am so excited to be apart of this. I cant wait to see whats in store for the upcoming weeks.
My Grandma visited me the other day and handed me this. I was 8 years old when I did this sketch. The passion for drawing and creating has been with me since I could remember. This was just a bookmark in time that got me to think about the past relative to the future. Thanks Grandma.
Cars are one of my biggest inspirations. Drag racing is pure brutality. Massive engines designed for one purpose, to go as fast as you can. No turns, no pit stops, none of that, just the purity of power and speed. Drag racing is something I grew up with and its also something i truly admire. (click picture to see more)
I took a picture of all the shoes I have so far. I NEED MORE! lol, you can never have enough. I love admiring the design, material choice, and color combos. They inspire me everyday.
