I always love getting out early on the weekend and head to a car show. This past weekend was the Mooneyes Car Show in Pomona, California. Cars range from grimy buckets with massive motors to million dollar low riders and has always served a place of inspiration for me. In a weird way, the character and style of the owners always is reflected their car. Almost like the car is a representation of that person. I can relate to that in footwear during the brief writing process when we’re positioning the shoe to a market/consumer. A process I really enjoy, and helps designers really grasp the overall end use of the product. Was a really fun show, and a staple in SoCal culture.
